.One of the dangers of being a Journeyman Mechanic is : you see all manner of failures so you tend to over assume what's wrong before you actually tear into things .
Why I always like to do proper diagnosis before making final choices .

Been too hot here this last week to do anything outside. But have been thinking about air not coming out of the center vent. When I was doing the bypass on the heater hose, I was all over and around the servo box and I thought that I should take at look. Sure enough, one of the vac lines under the box was disconnected. Put it back together and guess what, AIR COMES OUT THE CENTER VENT. Thanks for all the help. Tom.
