Max, yes that block heater was very useful. I am considering ordering one anyway, and see if I can find a mechanic I can trust to put it in. In the SF bay area, there were still some MB mechanics left ( and still junkyard cars), but out here in MD. they are harder to find. If anyone knows of any in the Baltimore area, please let us know.
But I will use the electric coil underneath the oil pan in the meantime when it is very cold, even with the glow plugs...I just want to make it easier on her on cold starts.
