I wish there was more info on YouTube for this model. This is my first project and I don't know much about engines and stuff. I just love cars. Plus I have trouble finding parts for it online Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android From:"bstromsoe@yahoo.com [diesel_mercedes]" <diesel_mercedes@yahoogroups.com> Date:Wed, Jul 1, 2015 at 9:27 AM Subject:Re: RE: [diesel_mercedes] 1965 190d wont start The good news is that this should be easily trackable and fixable. There are only a finite number of possibilities. Any car this old could benefit from a complete replacement of electrical components sooner or later - why not make it sooner? I would start with replacing battery cables and work my way towards the starter & solenoid. Having a new electrical system is a feel good thing if you want to keep this beast around for another 5 or 10 years. Most of this can be a DIY experience which can teach you a lot about your car too. | |
