Re: [diesel_mercedes] Speedo Needed

What year speedo? I have a 81 TD turbo somewheres. I took it out of the car years ago and noticed it was electronic and my 240D's are not. Ha Ha, freezing cold in Pasadena, 36 degrees. People down there have coats? I read about the mess up at Big Bear. Thats where we went when I was a kid, fished a lot up there too. Max

Thanx Bill ;

Sadly I had to put in one specific year model , I didn't see any way around that severely limiting aspect .

Too bad as I see they list Morris Minors , I have one of those too .

Thanx Bill ;

Look at the photos ~ the European ones don't have the secondary yellow numbers .

Depending on what country it is from , it can be KPH -or- MPH , I don't really care .

Those are scary expen$ive ~ a few years ago our Junk Yards were littered with these , I shoulda bought one .

I'm not so sure being up before dawn is a curse .

Last  night I remained up to 03:45 , got back up again about 07:30 , managed NOT to watch the R ose Parade although I did giggle at those poor saps who were shivering in the 36* F cold @ 07:30...

European Spec. only .

Cane be from any year / model W-123 , needn't be functional as I'll have it rebuilt and odometer reset to match my car .

I'll buy the whole binnacle or just the speedo  gauge I need or travel to yank it out of any junker you find .

TIA ,

-Nate
