Guibo is that round rubber disk at each end of the drivelines. But about the tranny . . . I'm currently putting one of these engines in a jeep CJ7 and as of now it is mated to a 4-bolt slushbox. That should be very adequate for a light weight rig like a CJ. So 1) is yours a 4 or 6 bolt pan and 2) how cheap is really cheap. BTW, thanks for suggesting the carrier bearing mount. That's easy. Not sure what a "guibo" is, but, the the symptoms sound like classic drive shaft carrier bearing housing failure. The bearing itself is likely all right, but the housing is made of rubber, and often fails. Doubtful it's the transmission, but if you need one, I've got one that I'll let go real, real cheap. Just need to get it over the mountain to you.
