You're doing a ' Mini-Purge ' now , I do the same thing every time I replace my secondary fuel filter ~ I completely fill the screw on secondary filter with whatever Diesel Fuel Additive I have on hand .
A few times I only had a big can of SeaFoam , filled it up with that and screwed it on , lit it off and away she went .

When changing filters I always add some diesel kleen or purge to the filter to top it off. What is the best thing to do to do a mini purge? That is what product is best for cleaning out the tubes. Granted its about a half pint in the secondary but I can get a quart into my other pre filter. Lawrence Rhodes..
