doubting it's the parking brakes (I haven't used them in the time I've owned the car)

I use them religiously on my manual trannies-- Even though I park in gear. Nope-- can't explain my logic-- it's just what I do.

I'll order those parts as well..

In this thread-- they describe needing a special socket to get to the bearings..
