I got only used clothes but they were usually in good shape ~ they didn't thrash around like I did .
I seem to recall Mom buying a new Toyota Wagon about 1969 +/- , I was long gone by then , who knows what happened to it , I know she gave her 1967 VW Typ III Squareback to my Sister .
Down East is rough on cars ~ after 5 years you're lucky if it's still worth oil changes .
