What model car did you remove them from, and what will they go into? Any numbers from the old parts?

I took the cruise module and the actuator out of the bear waggon - which waggon has gone now to the crusher, the module is about 3/8"longer than the original, and looks to have a later serial number. Any reason to think the larger one is not compatible?
Would really like to get it working for the trip to Mazatlan, it makes a big diff to both of our sciatic nerves.
