On the right track, but still need help.
I fount this on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-W123-230-240-280-300-TRACK-GUIDE-ROD-MOUNT-KIT-/140491628961?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20b5f421a1&vxp=mtr#ht_3962wt_954
However, it states it does not fit an 80 300d in one place and it fits all W123s in another. Other sites show this same part number fitting. My car is an 84, but non turbo, W123.130 chassis, not a W123.133 (turbo)
Napaonline has the same part number for both, so doesn't AutohausAZ.
I was going to go with this ebay ad because it ships from NY and I should be able to have it in a couple days. I don't want to have to return it and delay the repair.
Can any Experts confirm that this part, 1233301335 fits both ?
Other names for the part Strut rod or guide rod bushing, Supporting joint (factor manual) for the supporting tube, and a couple others I don't recall.
Steve
Other odd things about my car
Front fender antenna, no sun roof, power front, manual rear windows.
