Tom is coming over to - morrow morning and after I get done vacuuming up rodent poop in my basement , off we'll go a hunting for misc. small bits for SWMBO's Euro TD ~ I get heat out of the dash vents even with the heater off so I'll grab a Monovalve or three , and maybe an auxiliary water pump , maybe I should just buy that new .
The chin spoiler grilles are in a box in the back so I need to grab the special screw for them (O.K. , it's just a screw but I'm *very* picky about hardware , so sue me) , I got some Euro headlights for it and so I need to find the correct extra long headlight to body screws with attached washers before I can proceed installing them .
Maybe some front seat belt receivers as these are not as smooth & easy to latch as all other Mercedes' I've ever touched . I can deal with it but she doesn't like it and worries about breaking a fingernail so I'll see what I can do .
Maybe a driver's side inner door handle as that's wobbly too and when I open up the doors to rebuild the central locking I want to have all the parts I'll possibly need On Hand .
So , this may be the only chance I get to wish all the Papas out there : HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ! .
