Didn't mean to start a war! Geez.
I can send you the recipe for the chicken if you want. In fact it came from Gilroy, CA, the garlic capital! You gotta love garlic to love this chicken. It was delicious by the way! :)
Boy howdy did you ask the $64 Question Trish ! .
Everyone has an opinion on this but few have any real idea what they're talking about so much yelling and name calling always ensues whenever oil domes up .
Sort of like politics , knowhutimean ? =8-) .
Anyways , in the end , using a good quality oil and _HOT_ changing it along with the oil filter , will be sufficient to keep your soon to be beloved Mercedes running for years to come .
Synthetics are always better than the Dino based oils it was designed and built to use *but* they tend to find weeps & seeps moreso than do Dino based oils .
Me , I use the thinnest multi - viscosity Diesel rated oils I can find as I live in the Southwest and run all my engines _hard_ . 5W-whatever , not -50 as the polymer chain that allows 10W-50 is rather long and doesn't stand up well to harsh service .
I wish you were here around _MY_ birthday ~ I'd love some Parmisan Chicken ! =8-) .
