[diesel_mercedes] Alternator adjustment. W123 1980 TD

 

I've owned two types of alternator brackets on my w123's. The first had a
sprocket bolt to tighten the belt. My 1980 TD has a shaft with a bolt that is
the adjustment. Any tips? I suspect the pivot bolt needs loosening first.
Adjust. Tighten the pivot bolt. YOu're done. Is that it? Lawrence Rhodes....
