SWEET!  I love to hear your success Chip!  SEE!!!  I hate it when people poo-poo "alternative" methods.  They've been around as long as the earth has been.  While studying for a degree in Horticulture I did 2 papers and a presentation on herbs.  I had already been studying them for years, but the more I researched, the more fascinated I became.

Not too long ago I wondered why my neck and shoulders were so painful I could hardly sleep and always got up feeling awful.  I bought pillow after pillow, to no avail.  One day one of those many many drug commercials came on TV. It was about Fibromyaligia.  I thought "is that just another buzz word to sell drugs?"  I did some research and found out that not only did it perfectly describe my neck/shoulder pain, but it was totally caused by SUGAR!  At the time I was really addicted. I couldn't wait to get to work in the morning when I'd gobble down a couple of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, followed by all sorts of other sugar filled yummy things hiding in the health food store as "natural" therefore making me *think* they were safe! (Stuff such as herb tea, sweetened with organic sugar and organic sweetened banana chips)  I'd bake at least 2 more batches of cookies while at work and take home another half a dozen and eat them.  It wasn't easy, but I did break the sugar habit and took several herbs to clean the excess out of my system.  In a short time my neck/shoulder pain was completely gone!

Many years ago I had some weird karma going on and was in 3 car accidents one after the other until the fourth one, when someone ran a red light and totaled my car.  Anyhow...I had so much upper back pain. I was going to the chiropractor, but had little long term relief.  He sent me to a specialist that did an MRI.  He said I was doing the exact WRONG thing by NOT being active.  He said if I got active I'd get stronger and feel better.  He was right!  I started exercising again and working in the yard and garden and WOW in no time I felt great!

Sure hope you get to feeling better soon Nate.  It's awful to have pain that won't go away.

Nate,

The medical community was of no help to be, all they did was rotate from one prescription to another until they left me with only the choice of back surgery. That's when I went to alternative route, went to a chiropractor. After 3 months of a variety of natural treatments and manipulations and hard physical work on my part with diet and exercise I was pain free. That was 30 years ago.

I don't hold by much I see out of the medical community today, the conflicts of interest that are apparent in their work make me sick to play out.
