Oh come on, what fun would that be? 

Think back to Eight Tracks! (I just know you have to be old enough to remember those! Probably even old enough to remember when there was no radio...was there such a day???) 

Eight tracks never worked unless you had a pack of matches or a toothpick stuffed in between the tape & deck!  When we advanced to cassettes we used pencils to rewind the tapes when the machine decided to eat it.
