Good morning Bill...
Yeah I heard loads here are up there too. Sad I live on very busy road for rock haulers. If only one would break down out front and need to off load!
Right it's only $$$$! We just wait for the sun to shine and the wind to blow and we're dried right up! This is thick black clay out here. If it's wet, it's slimy and you can't get it off your shoes or vehicle. If it's dry it's so hard you can't get a shovel through it.
Still well worth living out in the country! If I hear a siren it's rare. The only airplanes we hear are small ones, usually only once a year when they take aireal photos of everyone's property...you can find our farm on www.dfwmaps.com then search for the address, I know when I've got the right one when I find the race track across the street, then I zoom in. In fact they must have just taken pics as 2 weeks ago someone caught me at the entrance to the farm trying to sell me a 8x10 glossy!
Trish,
You really know how to have fun!
Yea, a couple tri-axle (a type of dump truck) loads of 2-RC gravel should make your driveway a boring ride again. Trouble is, at least here in Pa., the loads are going for $350 each delivered but not spread...
It's only money $$$$$
Cheers,
Bill aka "kipsinc"
