Re: [diesel_mercedes] People of the Soil

Strange mystery - all MB diesel heads seem to be current (or former) farmers, ranchers, tree planters, or rodeo stars. Must be something in the DNA. Others of course are musicians (clarinet here), some just play the radio, and others paint pretty pictures.

There has been a great silence lately on the virtues of keeping a jug of Clorox wipes in your cars. I must reiterate - these things are great for wiping down everything under the hood, inside the body, your grimy bundt wheels. When I wash the car and dry it down, I always clean 2 or 3 square feet. They are perfect for the job.

Max et al,

We have planted a bunch of things in the garden, over 100 different
varieties of fruit trees/plants. They call this area the banana belt, as
it gets more sun/heat then right on the coast, yet few frosts, compared
with more inland areas. Yes, we have bananas out back.

The plaques sound fun, what would thay have on them?
diesel_mercedes yahoo group
Diesel Mercedes Owners
The MB Star, or bunt cake wheel
Maybe some valve adjustment wrenches
If there was an image of a car, which model? (123 body?)

If we 1st know the components we want on the plaque, then it's easier to
put them together into a cohesive whole.
