[diesel_mercedes] SD heaating or lack thereof

 

It's that time of year again when evil things happen to the hvac
system.. My 83 SD button box doesn't produce any results. Pushing the
defrost button at any time doesn't start the blower. I've checked the
fuses. What is the next rational step in troubleshooting. I have the
shop manual and wiring diagrams. In the past I've found this group an
easy alternative to rational thought. I'd appreciate any suggestions to
make things easier.
