Sadly no block heater...yet. It's on the list, but I may not be able to get to that until next year. We rarely need a car early in the morning. It tends to warm up fast here...just fairly cold at night in the high desert. It's definitely a "want" and of course if we really start having problems that might get boosted ;)
What do you all recommend for block heaters? It doesn't get *that* cold here, and it's mostly cold at night. What about the ones that go on .. what is it....the lower radiator hose or something?
all ears...

If it's cold where you live and you drive the car in winter, and can't park in a nice garage, it will be you'r best friend, providing of course you can plug it in. No need to keep it on all night untill it gets down to -20 or so, put a timer on it and set it for what you figure you will need. The heater draws 400 Watts, which is about .04 cents/hour in most places.. Where I live these cars do not start after the really cold stuff sets in, which is from about now till March. Max
