I've been working at AutoZone for over two years now, and it's gone up maybe a dollar a gallon in that time.  The basic, green conventional house brand is about $9 a gallon here.  $10.99 for name brands, and $13.99 for Dex-Cool.

So, on Saturday, in my non MB vehicle, a Frank Industries Xplorer 228 built on a 1985 Dodge B350 Chasis, I blew a rear heater hose, on my way to have some fun on my 1985 KX125 dirt bike.

Thanks to AAA for getting me back home with the van and bike, but had to leave the trailer on the side of the road.

Its all good now, but how the heck did antifreeze go from $4.00 a gallon to $13 - $16.
And I thought the price of gas/diesel was high !

I remember the factory explosion in TX back in the late 80s when the price skyrocked from 4 dollares a gallon to six, but it went back to four a couple years after.

Is it really possible that I had that much stored in my garage that I missed the increases, or am I that old that I am fogetting buying some some where inbetween the 90s and now ?
