In the '77 ~ 85 series W-116 , W-123 & W-126 cars one of the four wire clips often remains holding the lid or slips back on , I often have to hold the rear most clips free as I lift the lid off otherwise it appears to be stuck fast .

newbie question . i was going to put a new air filter in my 1985 300 d but it wont come off . it feels like the air tube to the engine is not coming apart. any ideas? thanks for any help . rogo
