Subject: [diesel_mercedes] AC Evaporator Dray Drain

I didn't forget ! .

Last night I decided to once again adjust my valves and wound up taking the injectors out for pop testing so now it's sitting dead in the driveway because the injector pop tester I bought recently , , was apparently used as a football by the U.S.P.S. as they managed to snap off the needle inside the heavy duty , vibration resistant liquid filled gauge......

I rustled up my few remaining spare injectors and schlepped them down to Jerry's Shop , he looked around in the huge piles of tools & parts but couldn't find his pop tester so with tears in my eyes I drove off in my other Diesel Sports Coupe (the one with expired tags) and will hopefully be able to source a pop tester in El Monte to - day , the last time I went by there they tested them all for free so I gave them all my spare injectors as a thank you.....

I did find a couple tight valves , I hope the valve stem oil seals are not bad as I just paid more than the car is worth to rebuild the entire engine....

I'm going to try and get the car up on ramps this afternoon so I can take some pix of the AC Evaporator's drain , I'm not sure where it comes out underneath the car (should be tranny tunnel right side above the tranny but) but I'll give it a looksee , failing that I'll have to find a disassembled one in Pick- A - part & snap some pix of that so you'll know how to fix your soggy Diesel Sports Coupe.....

Stand by .

-Nate
