I'm stuck on the i6 thing , along with the full size shortbed aspect .
I've had Japanese ' crackerjack ' pickups , they were great and our City Fleet has scads of S-10 variants from the very first to the current crop , all are very good , just not for me .
I know what I need & like , I've tried the rest , all were pretty darn good but....
I just passed up a sweet running S-10 with the V6 , it was the " pimp my ride " truck with skulls motif . the stupid girl who allowed those fools to do it, took off and sold the pimp wheels and stereo gear then wanted only $500 for the truck itself . I'd be embarrassed to be seen in it until I'd primed over the weird new paint but as a Work Truck for $500 , it couldn't be beat .
If anyone wants the l o n g deal on my old '76 GMC , now is the time !
It runs & drives , has mostly new chassis parts , could use a valve job but doesn't smoke nor leak oil .
$1,500 , I hope to donate it this Saturday if I can talk Tom into driving me home .
