edit
from preliminary research, looks like I have to grind off old connector, and
preen the new one with a ballpeen hammer. tom or barton had a post on this a long time
ago. I could not find an update as to how it went.

The rectangular plastic piece that slides in the rail as the arm pushes up to raise the window broke in half. Called local mabenz, and they sell the part $8. drive 20 miles each way pick up the part, and it looks different. the parts guy says it will work, "i have never had one come back". I think his name is otto and he drives a school bus in springfield during the week!
