I resurrected my 1978 Motobecane moped. 120 mpg or more. Problem is
legal maximum speed is 30 mph but with tweaking I can get 38 mph on the
flat. Would be great around town but I live in rural area where speed
limit is generally 45 mph. Economically it is not practical after
paying registration and insurance. It makes you feel like you are doing
something to save gas but at a cost.
