So we need to be like Europe?  My great grandfather left there because America was NOT Europe.

(Mercedes content - The Kaiser's taxation left nothing with which to buy either a Daimler or Benz....)

Europeans pay more for their fuel at the pump. (But if you factor military spending per gallon, perhaps we're paying more than anyone else in the world.)
