Re: [diesel_mercedes] Fluids/MMO/Lucas/....

It was a lovely day today, I got on my little Honda and rode down the mountain to get a doughnut.  Going through the shop door, I walked into a conversation, the lady running the shop was describing being in a bidding war for a house, she offered 75, the competition raised 10k she raised him, finally at 90k no-one but her and some guy on the phone were still in, he quit at 97.5k and she bought the place for 100 thousand dollars.

Then, she said, we got to go look at it.  She'd bought a house for 100k she'd never even seen, she had to get the address from the auctioneer..

I damn near choked to death then and there, on a plain cake doughnut....

I have gone to auctions and seen good buys and watched people overbid as the frenzy escalates. Just write down what you want (need) and write the price you are willing to pay down - and then stop bidding when you reach your plateau. I mean, who in their right mind needs 25 cases of Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup?
