The pin that holds it in is internally threaded. 6mm I believe. I have been known to use a short bolt and a claw hammer.

Figured it out I think and have moved forward.  Removed the rockers and started on the cam.  Removed the tensioner screw/spring from the block and the bolt that holds the plastic guide in.  How in the world do you release the pin that the plastic tensioner rides on?  It isn’t a bolt (or if it is, the DPO may have sheared it off.  HBOL and the FSM are not helpful so far. 

 

Tricks to share with a beancounter?
