As luck would have it Taran…mommy got an iPad for Christmas and the 8 year old and 6 year old have been infatuated with it (mommy also).  I shall forward the link to the missus.

Hi all and happy new year! Hope the holidays treated you well.

 

If  you've been with our group for a while, you know that I like to keep our discussions focused on diesel Mercedes cars.

 

Well, for the first time in our 10+ years, please allow me a moment of self-promotion. Won't happen again anytime soon.

 

Last year I started a business developing kid's software for Apple's iPad. Our first release is an interactive/animated version of Treasure Island. It features 90 pages of original art and music and is geared towards kids age nine and up. We've been featured by Apple as "New and Noteworthy" and "What's Hot".

So why am I posting this to diesel_mercedes, a forum not known to cater to 9 year olds? Well, I'm hoping some of you parents and grandparents might have gotten an iPad for the holidays. Maybe you gave one to someone else. Or maybe you know a friend or neighbor who got one. If so, please consider buying a copy of Treasure Island by Cyberia  or forwarding this message to your favorite iPad owner.

Also, if you know a local church, temple, school, hospital, youth program, etc., that has an iPad, I have a limited number of free download codes. I would be happy to give your local organization a free copy for kids to enjoy. Just send an email to me at tr@cyberiamedia.com.

If you've gotten some benefit from our group, please give me a hand and consider buying a copy of Treasure Island by Cyberia  or spreading the word. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.
