[diesel_mercedes] HVAC Cabin Temp. Sensor FoamTube Replacement

O.K. , now I know and you do too :

If there's no sensor in the middle of your dash , it's under the right
hand speaker and you can crumble it and replace with 1/2" clear
tubing , (Dayco P/N CL33) , it'll fit snugly into the rubber end that
remains after the foam crumbles to dust .

This hose should be replaced as it controls how quickly your Klima HVAC
system reats and changes output cold or hot .

BTW : if there's a small rectanglar hole in your right hand dashboard
speaker grille , the sensor has fallen down inside the dash , you can
eaily remove the glovebox liner to acess it and push gently back up
into place intil it locks in with a " click " .
