John,
If you have not driven this route before, it can be very slow for a big
camper. The road is narrow, winding and rough in places. Be careful, keep
your eyes on the road. The road is dropping in quite a few places, so watch
your clearances. Very few turnouts for big rigs. I would suggest taking
Hwy 101 to Monterey and return the same route. Hope you have fun, the
scenery is absolutely beautiful. Made the complete trip in November,
Monterey to Moro Bay.
