You are correct Gert. It is amazing how some people spew out absolute bilge as if it were fact. The FAA would never allow a production plane to fly if its brakes were so worrisome. Brake replacement on aircraft is an infrequent occurance...

I have Hydraulic Disk Brakes on my 93 Safari and have absolutely no
problem with them.
After 25 K miles the pads look like new.
And airplanes changing their brakes after every 3rd landing is real
nonsense.
