A few years ago they were close to $1,000, not nearly as many of us still driving old OM616/617 engines these days .
Now, I need the adjusting tool : it's two blocks of metal connected by a turn buckle ~ one block is "U" shaped and slips snugly over the front squared off part of the I.P., the other part attaches to the cylinder head, the idea is to more firmly hold the I.P. from being bumped after you've adjusting it so both A & Blights are lit, whist you snug up the three I.P. holding nuts .
One word. Overkill.
