Mark, if you were closer, I'd be all over your W123!

However, I'm in Australia and I've settled for the next best thing to a
OM617 diesel powered Merc - I'm thinking about going all bad-ass and
buying myself a big Unimog UL1700L (ex-Australian Army, low kilometres
and well maintained) for our farm. These are powered by the OM352A
turbocharged 6 cylinder diesel which is the same size (capacity wise) as
a English 6.354 Perkins (5.8 litres) - about 180hp with the turbo alone.
I'm thinking of paying a UK based company who specialises in 'Mog
repairs and aftermarket accessories for one of their amazing intercooler
kits and a few little add-ons which would increase the power to well
over 200hp. Add on all the bits and pieces (such as three point
linkages, PTO's, hydraulic spool valves, agricultural tyres and the
like) and it's one hell of a capable machine which I need to have for
the farm!

Joe
