Are you talking about a vibration when at idle? or while driving?

Mine can be as smooth as silk idling one day, and vibrate the next.

If while driving, unless you can see damaged bushings, I'd think that would be more the driveshaft bearing and /or U joint.

It seems the tranny wants to be in one spot, when attached to the engine; you could loosen the bolts at the tranny bushing, and see if it wants to move.

In 1981 & 1982 Mercedes added a rear transmission mount to the cross member and I remember many talking about it causing vibrations when mis adjusted .

I hope someone here has a how to or maybe can provide a link to some articles about this, I searched Peach Parts forums but cannot find this specific one .
