Nate,
I usually do a quick wipe with vinyl/rubber protectant, on the wiper blades, mostly to clean the gunk off, and hope it doesn't tear too soon.
Waiting for some time to do repairs on my MB: trans shift modulator, vacuum system repair, etc. My car's been just sitting in the driveway. It went from leaking ATF into the vacuum line to real hard shifting and lack of shutting off.
Maybe sometime over the holidays I'll get some time. Tired of driving the pickup.
Rob
Well ;
WD40 is a solvent that directly attacks and destroys rubber so I'm keen to see how this works out for you .

I watched a guy on YouTube who claimed he'd been doing his trick for 20
years. As long as the blade is mechanically sound, wipe down (scrub?)
with WD40. I'm going to try it!
