Subject: [diesel_mercedes] drain valve
Anyone use a Fumoto type oil drain valve on their car? The one that has a 1/4 twist to drain. I have something similar on my diesel generator and it is very slick indeed. I got a new car and on the first oil change it was a disaster. The oil overshot the pan, not enough room, ect., ect, blah, blah. As I was laying under there with oil running down my arm I thought about a 1/4 twist drain valve. I've read some are defective and leak but the idea sounds great. Put a tube on the end, open, no mess. Just wondering.. Also, are there any Kubota mechanics out there experienced with small 3 cylinder engines. Max_,_.___
