My 240 has no plastic box on the right fender. On the drivers side there is the glo plug box and then a plastic box with two cube relays, thats it. Are 300's different? Max

You're trying to _force_ me to come look at your two current 240D's aren't you Max ? .Disconnect the vacuum stop hose from the IP, cycle the glow plugs and use a paper clip to jumper the two wires in the little black plastic box on the right fender wheel house....Let us know how it goes please .-Nate
