It's a long shot - but - I have had keys that worked in several different older 1980-1985 MB's. I just had Tom at Classic cut me a new key after I gave him a vin number. Unfortunately they cut the key for Mary's vin# which they had in their database, instead of for keyless Jane Doe so I will have to try again. Keyless donor Jane Doe is waiting for a spring rear end transplant to Martha who was rear ended (functional and driveable but injured).
