415 miles, 24MPG .
Silver Bottle Diesel Kleen used, I prolly have 10 Oz. in the tank now .
I changed the paper element filter in the fuel return line, it wasn't terribly dirty .
This time I tried a larger, WIX # 3002 (NAPA # 33002) filter to see if it'll help catch more crud or whatever, I had it lying around and decided to use it .
After the Diesel Purge and running it dry Saturday, it's *much* peppier off idle and the shifting is smoother as it takes less throttle to go the same speed now .
I can't see out the greasy back window to see it it's smoking much or just a bit, it still lopes @ hot idle, not so much when I start it up cold .
The power feels pretty good but after 85 MPH the power band flattens out quickly and it takes a while to get up to 105 MPH, I'da run it longer to see how fast it'll go but there was traffic and I don't like to drive fast when there are others near me .
Between 60 ~ 75 it accelerates fairly briskly, remember this is a Diesel, not some big V8 gasser .
