Low fuel warning lamp yes and it works fine .
IIRC it's supposed to come on at about two gallons remaining .
This 1982 240D's low fuel lamp comes on then the gauge's needle is above the "R" .
Even when I hand pull the float as low as it'll go the needle never reaches 'R' .
Stay tuned, you know I'll figure it out in due time
