Well I've enjoyed my stay here. Got lots of good advice. Gave a little. However the urge to tease about how much better my new car is just won't go away. I really got good use out of my Mercedes. Only lost one car due to engine knock. More or less had accidents pay for all the cars. Drove on veg oil for a decade. That saved 25 grand. But the busted knuckles dirty fingers and wife rescues balanced it out. Not to mention all the veg oil containers taking over the house. I put in a transmission, numerous alternator's,pumps and hoses. Not to mention valves. Enough. I'VE had my time with one of the best engineered cars made. However the Leaf brakes better, rides as well & only costs me $258.00 for 5 years. No dirty fingers. If anyone wants my valve adjustment wrenches let me know. 30 bucks plus shipping takes them.
