I saw the Pike, through the folk's car window, when I was a kid, though my folks said we couldn't go there, as is was full of drunken sailors, hookers, and thieves. Looked like fun.

The Pike was in Long beach and really raggedy by the 1970's, eventually they forced it to close and now there's a spiffy Marina there .
Palisades Park was another one that sort of died on the vine then was used to film super cheap and crappy horror / teenaged angst movies for a few years .
My birthday is early November ~ no party , I plan to ride my Moto .
