I have an old, beat up, rusting 1983 300D. I am wanting to get rid of it and get a newer car. I was looking at a TDI Jetta or Passat. Even though these cars have lots of issues, I was willing to get one for the biodiesel running capacity. Then it donned on me... Why not get a newer, bullet proof mercedes diesel.
So, what should I get and what should I avoid? I am fiquring you guys have so experience or have at least hear about the other years. Maybe a 300E?
