Yes , it turns out the same part is used on my '84 300CD .

I got off work yesterday and went by the Monrovia P-A-P Yard , only one turbo diesel there and the linkage gone .

One '78 300D Sedan , been sitting for a long time , all full of leaves and crap , not the same part , it was the _only_ W-123 in the year , I scored one of those plastic grilles under the front bumper off it .

I see there's _one_ turbo charged 300D in the Sun Valley Yard (thanx for the link) , it's been there since 8/21 so might not have much useful left .
