I would avoid replacing any of that until all else has failed.

The starter system is the thickest wire from the battery to ground, and from the battery to the starter.

Check the connectors on the wire ends for discoloration, corrosion and deterioration.

You could take pictures and post them on this site. Bill in Oregon

So I traced the battery cables to where they connect to the car and this is what I found. How do you replace these? See attachment.

More Clues!  However the motor must turn over to do any testing.  That is electrical.  Lawrence Rhodes
