Yes IF the servo still works and neither stalls out nor slowly grinds to a halt at either end of it's travel .
When you test it , it's critical that the electric motor spins freely then comes to a firm & sudden halt , not slows down until it stops .
late 1970's Dodge trucks use a heater hot water valve that has the correct mis - matched hose nipples and operates via a cable .
