This is a Chinese thing so BE GENTLE WITH IT ~ I had to use one in one of my Mercedes' and it took some gentle , delicate tweaking to make everything fit .

Turns out ORilleys carrys this part but it is a drop shipped item. It's also all metal. However it says it only fits a 1981 300td. Mine is a 80. Other websites say it fits all w123's. What is the difference? Can't be much. I feel I should buy it and shoehorn it in. Lawrence Rhodes
