Well I took it to a real alternator rebuild shop. It failed the test. I have no idea why it failed that test and passed with 14.4 volts the day before at O'Reilly's.
I am having them reman it because it is cheaper even than a store brand and even those store brands usually don't come with a fan.
There is continuity on the connections to the battery too.
Like I said I do not know how it could have passed that one test with flying colors.
