Subject: [diesel_mercedes] injector line clips
Anyone know where I can get the (injector line) vibration clips? I need a full set for a 4-cyl.
The basket case is officially on the road. There are still a lot of piddling things that need attention, bolting the dashboard the rest of the way in for starters, But I got everything working and ready for new tires and a sticker.
Haven't checked the brakes yet. Almost afraid to.
OH! What's the deal with the fog lights? They work if I jump them at the headlight switch, but where is the dang fog switch? The biggest problem with this car, they apparently had a melt down in the lighting system (behind the instrument panel) and rewired it kind of hinky. Took me 4 days to get all the lights working.
The glow plug timer/relay was blown out so I just put it on a button with a ford starter relay. one one thousand, two one thousand... :o)
I'm pretty happy about saving 80 bucks. Hopefully, I can teach the wife to use it.
